Thriving start-ups inevitably find themselves at a key inflection point -- needing to move away from the founders leading the work and build bench strength of talent to execute the work. And, they need to establish equitable and replicable "people" practices and processes to stay competitive in the talent market and provide the growing team the support they need to do their best work. 

Verogy had built a strong founding team of ~30, and now needed to stand up a strong people organization and grow their team from 30 to 36 within 6 months. And, they needed to develop and roll-out a performance management process, establish a 401(k) plan, and put a few other critical initiatives in place.

In just 5 months, we helped Verogy hire 6 people (including one senior leader), build a performance management process and ensure their compensation plans were equitable and justifiable. And, while some of the founding team were initially skeptical that hiring a mid-level Talent Operations Manager would be a better decision than having Talent Consultants on board to manage these items, they trusted my judgment that if we hired the right person, they'd benefit greatly while saving a lot of money! Within 6 months, their Talent Operations Manager has taken on management of all HR issues, now oversees staff recruiting and onboarding, and so much more.  Verogy saved nearly 100k on consultants in the first year alone. 

Today, Carrington Talent Group is brought in a few hours a month to help recruit senior talent and provide specialized HR thought leadership and guidance.
