FaithActs for Education

The Client

Founded in 2015, FaithActs for Education leads an education reform movement working in pursuit of a future where the quality of one's education isn't determined by race or zip code.

The Engagement & Our Impact

FaithActs had big goals and was poised to expand geographically. After finding limited success with a few other consultants, they engaged Carrington Talent Group for one project, but that quickly expanded to four.

Step 1:

Carrington Talent Group got to know the team and the pain points they were experiencing, and worked alongside the Executive Director and COO to help scope out the areas that FaithActs needed both full-time and incremental resourcing.

Step 2:

Carrington Talent Group got to work. We offered strategic and tactical marketing and communications support, and also introduced them to a niche external affairs/PR firm that suited FaithActs’ needs. We took on a critical annual project that had previously consumed far too many management hours and amassed huge consulting fees, reducing the time spent and the fees by 60% year over year. We scoped and filled a unique Chief of Staff/Head of Talent role and also hired an Executive Assistant to the Founder/CEO and COO. Both hires were big wins. Finally, once the new hires were on board, we worked with FaithActs' executive team to onboard the new team members effectively and set them all up for success through management/staff coaching, utilizing a DISC assessment/tool to support the discussions.

Step 3:

FaithActs executed on their expansion and took their team to the next level. Not only was it a very successful engagement, but FaithActs' COO said they'd like to hire one of the Carrington Talent Group consultants full-time!
